"We have been called to heal wounds, to unite what has fallen apart and bring home those who have lost their way." St Francis of Assisi
The OPEN DOOR SHELTER in Norwalk serves the homeless and working poor. Many have lost a significant part of their income or their entire job due to the closure of businesses throughout the Covid 19 pandemic. The Shelter serves meals each day & they are seeing all ages from children to seniors. Even though their current donations are decreased, they are actually serving twice the number of people in need. They never turn anyone away!
Let's make their Thanksgiving special!
My goal is to send a total of 5 large (30lb) turkeys with amazing sides catered by the wonderful Calise's Deli( owned by a parishioner). In the past, many of you made baskets of food for donations but due to Covid 19 restrictions, I can only send food prepared in a commercial kitchen. Carmine who owns Calise's Deli does exceptional work and is giving us an amazing price.
Please help by clicking the link below to donate. I am accepting donations now through Nov 14 th ( I have to end a little early to allow the food to be ordered & brought in).

Thank you for your generosity!
A warm & amazing meal on a holiday when so many could feel lost & alone will touch so many hearts!
Peace
